your best bet would be to set up using SMB scan to folder.set up is pretty straight forward create a folder on the root of C: ie C:scans share the folder with full permissions, simple file sharing has to be turned off!!
Thanks Thxs for the reply nmfaxman, I went there this morning and mentioned scanrouter and was told yes its on the server but they didn't know what it was for.
In their defence it wasn't the IT guy who set it up from new the other IT guy has left the company.
Also tried updating manually but the screen just says please wait.
This is the first time i've seen this set up (Network Delivery Server) as i'm only familiar with scan to folder on the newer ricoh equipment. So the scan is working ok i just can't add any or delete any users in the address book.
Im getting the same error as above and no, there is no setting that allows you to turn off the delivery server (at least not in the areas you suggested).
It sounds like maybe the authentication has changed on the delivery server, as in the username or password. You must program the email addresses in the machine address book, so that you will have a destination list to scan to a DSM645 they scan using the network delivery scanner which has 15 users who can scan with no problems.Hi, a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.p_faqid=2824&p_created=1042555660&p_sid=AVPHk CTh&p_lva=&p_sp=c F9zcm No PTEmc F9zb3J0X2J5PWRmb HQmc F9ncmlkc29yd D0mc F9yb3df Y250PTE1Ni Zw X3Byb2Rz PTAmc F9j YXRz PTAmc F9wdj0mc F9jdj0mc F9z ZWFy Y2hfd Hlw ZT1hbn N3ZXJz Ln Nl YXJja F9ub CZw X3Bh Z2U9MSZw X3Nl YXJja F90ZXh0PVNj YW5Sb3V0ZXIg UG9yd HM*&p_li=&p_topview=1Troubleshooting Issues with Windows XP SP2 was to enable a setting in the Ricoh to enable the copier to be seen on network.Press the yellow button, then 1 0 7, then hold the stop key(red/orange button) for more than 5 seconds until the screen changes, select the first option which should be "copy" or "system", then press 5 8 3 2 #, then select "execute", this will format the HDD/hard drive, then switch off and on, input your addresses again and all will be fine.Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
